Description

The 10x12 Breeze pergola with retractable canopy is our best seller.  It fits snugly into most backyard spaces and is large enough to easily accommodate a patio table for at least eight.  This makes it an ideal size for entertaining especially knowing you will be protected from the sun and rain.

Umbrellas provide some shade protection but only for small areas and are not structurally very sound.

Because the retractable canopy is attached to a solid structure of a pergola, it can withstand wind speeds of 80 mph or more when fully extended.

Difficult weather such as a passing rain shower or extreme sun is never going to ruin your outdoor entertaining plans again!

Currently we only offer one color option for our canopies which resembles a neutral grey tone (See Photos)

Our Patented Retractable Canopy System is simple and easy to install

  • Install tracks
  • Load fabrics
  • Fasten canopy stops and anchor knobs

Simple to Operate

  • Extend the canopy fabrics out using pull handle
  • Lock canopy easily to opposite end to fully extend
  • Retract canopy using pull handle and lock

Post Mount Brackets

We recommend using a Post Mount Bracket to secure pergola posts to your foundation.

Although the pergola is stable and strong without installing a bracket, installation of the brackets will firm up the structure and lessen the amount of sway that may occur with your structure. In areas of high winds, please check with your local building authority to confirm suitability.

post mount brackets

The First Step

The First Step is to line up your posts with the post mount brackets so you can drill the proper holes. Watch our Lining Up Posts & Brackets video to the right.

Instructions:

  • Line up Post Mount on bottom of post and mark hole location.
  • Using OLT’s footprint, drill holes in your foundation for Post Mount Rebar.
  • Make sure Post Mounts Brackets are installed at the proper height, adjust as necessary.
  • Fill drilled hole with Exterior Epoxy Glue as well as apply to Rebar Post.
  • Push or bang Post Mount Bracket in hole and let expoxy cure.
  • Line up Pergola Post holes previously marked with Post Mount Bracket holes.
  • Slide 6” carriage bolt through holes.
  • Slip washer on and tighten nut with wrench.
  • Complete remaining posts.

The Second Step

Different surfaces will require different styles of post mounts. The Second Step is to follow the specific instructions for either an Existing Slab Installation, or for Concrete Set Up Installation

The driver will take your skid to the back of the truck, cut the straps and hand the pieces down to you. Most individual pieces weigh no more than 30-50 lbs.

  • There is a time limit of 15-20 free minutes so it is best to have someone there to assist you.
  • If hand offloading, briefly check all the pieces as they are handed to you.

On the Day of the Delivery

  • On the morning of the delivery, call the carrier to confirm your shipment is on schedule. Carriers typically deliver between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. - make sure you are present or have someone available to receive the shipment.
  • Make sure your delivery location is easily accessible to the truck and driver. Move vehicles if necessary. Drivers are not allowed to deliver freight that they deem dangerous to themselves or that may damage your property etc.

When the Truck Arrives:

  • While the unit is still in the truck, confirm the shipping label has your name, address and is the correct product. If not, call us immediately.

Damages - IMPORTANT

  • At the time of delivery, DO NOT SIGN until you have inspected the freight! Look inside the truck to make sure the unit is not damaged before unloading.
  • Occasionally the driver will be in a rush and want you to sign quickly. It is your right to take a few minutes to inspect the freight.
  • If you notice any damages, please make the notation ‘damaged’ on the delivery receipt upon signing for the receipt of the goods. Take pictures of anything you think looks like damage, including the pallet and call our Customer support line at 1-888-658-1658.

How Can Home Gardening Save Money?

1. Produce Savings: You'll have access to fresh, organic produce without the markup associated with store-bought items.

2. Less Frequent Trips to the Store: Having a variety of fresh produce at home means fewer trips to the grocery store. This can help you avoid impulse purchases and save on transportation costs.

3. Lower Overall Food Costs:  While there are initial investments in seeds, soil, and tools, these costs are often offset by the savings on groceries over time.

4. Cuts on Specialty Ingredients: Growing herbs at home can save money, especially if you regularly buy fresh herbs from the store.

5. Preserving & Canning: If you have a surplus of fruits and vegetables, you can preserve them through canning, freezing, or drying.

Why Western Red Cedar Wood?

Western Red Cedar is a naturally stunning building material with deep, tonal properties that accentuate the richly textured wood grains and exposed heartwood.

For centuries, the Western Red Cedar has been celebrated by the Pacific Northwest Coast First Nations as the “Tree of Life” using it to build longhouses, canoes, and totem poles.

Red cedar’s reputation for being a naturally durable wood makes it perfect for all outdoor projects. The wood is lightweight and valued for its high natural resistance and decay properties.

It is less susceptible to moisture, insect damage, and fungi growth. Cedar is also water damage resistant and can successfully weather long periods of heavy rain and other weather extremes such as snow, hail, and strong winds.

With its unsurpassed natural beauty, centuries of proven performance, low environmental impact, and natural resistance to decay/insects it’s clear to see the advantage of quality Western Red Cedar.

Is Shipping Included?

Yes.

We ship to serviceable areas in the continental US & Canada, not Puerto Rico, or the Virgin Islands. In any other areas including Hawaii and Alaska, we can ship to a freight forwarder located on the mainland of the US.

Our freight partners generally describe a serviceable area as anywhere accessible by a large freight truck or where roads are regularly maintained and items can be delivered safely. This broad definition applies to most urban and non-urban places.

Areas not considered serviceable are exceptionally rural areas that are not safely accessible by a large truck. If you have concerns that this may be applicable to you, then you can also have your items shipped to the freight terminal and pick them up yourself.

Please feel free to give us a call at 1 888-658-1658, and we will be glad to assist you with any other questions you may have about this.

How Long Does It Take To Ship?

Our products ship quickly in 1-3 weeks!

Our office will contact most customers with larger sized orders once the order has been processed. We will discuss the delivery process and transit time before your order is shipped. Once on route our shipping team will send tracking information. This conversation will also to allow you to make changes to your order, and or ask any further questions that you may have.

Delivery estimates depend on a variety of factors, from distance to weather. You will be able to contact the carrier yourself with the tracking number, and our team is ready if you need assistance.
